Based on my research of the 70s, it was definitely a time to be alive. The seventies encompasses the word 'groovy' and truly has iconic pieces and pop culture like no other time era. Popular artists like ABBA, Elton John, Cher and Queen were on the rise and came with their influence for the decade. Teen pop culture includes a lot of drugs and smoking supported by the festival Woodstock, flower power and rollerskating and disco or roller-disco. Since it was a post-war time, most teenagers protested against war and advocated for peace on earth and questioned the intentions of the government.
